The moment I discover a song that I like it takes me about two days of active listening to memorize it all.

If I put so much attention into learning the lyrics of a song, it is not going to take me that much time maybe probably between three weeks or thereabouts. I'm going to master new song lyrics.

That's a really interesting question!
I have a very good memory in any part of my live and it's the same with lyrics. It often takes me only two to three times to remember repeterives passages and a few more listens to know the rest, depending on the difficulty, variety of words/expressions and language.
English is not my native language so it often takes a little bit longer than in my mother tongue.

Well, it always depend on how fast you are in memorization. It takes some few weeks while some can do that in few hours.
