There are songs that hit me more when I listen to them in the night. There are also songs I listen to while on transit, others when I am in the gym. I find myself listening to specific songs throughout these different activities.

Does this happen to you too?

Different melodies for the day. You can't be listening to cool music in a very hot afternoon, you will craze.
Afternoon comes with high vibes.
Night comes with cool music, nobody wants a hotter night too.
Morning comes with serene and calm music, as you are jogging or walking.
Find the songs that align with this, you will love it.

Yes, songs with fast beats are great for cardio, and pushing yourself, also helps me snap out of depression, exercise + music = so many positive benefits.
I know right? I guess that is the beauty of music itself. We have such varieties of songs that suits all the needs of humans.

I think it has to do with someone's mood at any particular point in time. There is a mood you're going to be in and a song will resonate with you completely at that time when you're in that very mood.

I definitely agree with everyone who already commented. Every time of day, every activity and even every season can cause a different mood and vibe, therefore a different kind of music that's wanted.
My music taste changes a lot over the cause of a year AND day. I listen to piano pieces if i want to relax until sleeping, i listen to rock or electro when i'm in the gym and i listen to jazz from the 30s until the 60s when there's a cozy autumn vibe - and these are only examples.

Songs that hit you very right after listening to them before comes with your mood. Your mood will dictate how well the song will meet your heart and a better mood resonate good vibes from songs.

That is actually right. What you are feeling at that moment that you listen to the song shows how the song will actually get to you and reach your heart.

Sometimes, I might be in a bad mood and a good song can be playing but because my bad mood isn't vibing, it won't reach my heart.

Human feelings are never the same all the time from my own personal experience. It's why some songs hits differently whenever they are being replayed.
Yes our feelings are different throughout the day. So when some songs are played during the times we experience certain emotions it will surely hit harder.
