Common instruments in jazz that I know include the saxophone, trumpet, trombone, piano, double bass, drums, and guitar.

What other instruments do you know?

Those are definitely the core instruments in jazz! Some others you might come across include:
Clarinet – Especially in early jazz like Dixieland or New Orleans jazz.
Flute – Sometimes used for its lighter, airy sound.
Vibraphone – A unique percussion instrument with a cool, shimmering tone.
Harmonica – Though less common, it’s used in some jazz styles, especially blues-jazz fusion.
Cello – Occasionally used in modern jazz, adding a deep, rich resonance.
Jazz is all about creativity, so you’ll find artists experimenting with all kinds of instruments in different setups!

Harmonicas are used? Maybe I will pay more attention so as to listen to it, I never could have guessed.

JThe instruments used are flute, saxophone, guitar, trumpet, piano and many others. The most important about these instruments is to have a good skilled player and that can use them very well.
