What do you think of AI songwriters?

Many argue that AI is there to actually make our work easier, but definitely not in certain aspects of life. For instance using AI to come up with song lyrics is to betray your audience.
They want something real and original from you, AI is a compromise to that.

What do you think?

There's a lot that AI is good for but the idea that an AI model created a piece of creative work immediately makes me disinterested in the work. Even if in the future AI can start putting out creatively good work (now it's just stuff that sounds like other stuff, generic) I would feel the same. I like music, art, film, etc. because it makes me feel connected to humanity, you remove the human piece, you remove my interest.

I agree. AI can make tasks easier, but when it comes to creativity like song lyrics, audiences want authenticity. Using AI there can feel like you’re taking a shortcut instead of sharing something truly original.

Exactly. Songs are supposed to be original and convey the ideas of the writer. This whole purpose is defeated with the use of AI.
