Watching movies or reading books?

Of course there are amazing movies. It all comes down to preference. As for me, I love the mental pictures and imaginations I get when I read. It makes me pause some times to think.
I get those imaginations too from movies. But reading has sharpened my imagination eyes that it's very active. I was once a reader and that's how I cultivated my imaginary eyes.

Reading books is still a fun activity for me especially when it's printed books. I'm not all that big reading ebooks but actual books.

Which activity is more entertaining or engaging or enjoyable to you between watching movies and reading books?

It feels to me that reading books is more engaging than watching movies but watching movies is more entertaining. Both of them can be very enjoyable.
I enjoy watching movies more because I learn so much more from watching movies especially historical movies. Reading a book is fine but I get more absorbed into the story by watching a movie about a topic. I tend to watch a movie again multiple times as I keep learning from it the more I watch them.
