Trying to enjoy some electronic music with my eleven-year-old. Need suggestions.

I listen to a lot of music, and I mean a lot. I love tons of genres from tons of eras, but I've never been all that into electronic music. There have been plenty of exceptions, songs and artists that grabbed me over the years. I particularly enjoyed Daft Punk and Fatboy Slim back in the day, and during my rave days, I learned to appreciate the energy and artistry of a good trance, house or drum and bass DJ set, even if I was never what you'd call a true fan.

Now my eleven-year-old, who has been raised mostly on jazz and rock and indie has somehow become an electronic music fan. I blame video games, haha. I'm glad he's found something that brings him joy. I was his age when I first got serious about serious music.

The thing is, I'd like to share some of this experience with him, but I barely know where to start. He's just beginning to explore it himself, really. A while back, we were watching Trolls: World Tour, and he said his favorite music was techno. The Techno Trolls' song was, of course, "One More Time," so I played him some Daft Punk, and he liked that alright. A good friend of mine and talented DJ who passed years ago was a big fan of Paul Oakenfold, so I played some for my son, and he enjoyed that I think more than the Daft Punk. I know he likes a lot of the music in Beatsaber, but I don't know which artists. Recently, we were playing a game called Audiosurf, which makes levels out of your MP3s, and he chose a Skrillex song. I like Skrillex, at least what I've heard.

So, does anyone have suggestions for some artists we should check out, maybe someone newer than Fatboy Slim and Daft Punk? I'm especially looking for anything you think would be accessible for an old indie rock fan and an electronic music newbie. Thanks in advance for any advice.
