Spotify crashing?

There is something wrong with my Spotify because I started experiencing some crashes this morning when I'm trying to play music.

I don't know if another person is having the same experience. I've updated the app but it is still having the same issue.

There are times when there are bugs like that. It won’t go on for long though as they most definitely are working on it already. Just give it time.

It's going to be very annoying for me when I'm experiencing that kind of bug when I'm trying to make use of my Spotify. They better get it right and fixed because I won't be happy paying for their premium service and face such rubbish.

It was when I used Apple music that I experienced this crashing bug. I later found out it was because I didn't update my app the crash was happening.

I've never experienced my Spotify crashing since I started using it as my streaming platform more than 7 years ago. It will be very frustration for me not to be able to play music if this keep happening to my Spotify.

Thank you so much for sharing those tips. I've going carry out each of them whenever my Spotify crashes on me when streaming music. I think you're right about needing to free up some memory especially RAM.

This happened to me last week too and I thought there's something wrong. My instinct was telling me that it can be a bug. So I left it for some hours, go back and it's functioning as if nothing happened before.

App crashing happens from time to time. Many Spotify users complain about this as it leads to an awful user experience.

Here are the possible reasons for causing crashing issues.
⛔️ Outdated app version: Your Spotify app may be out of date. Typically, the latest version of the Spotify app will fix some bugs that were found before. If you did not update the app to the latest version, your current running version may have some bugs that hinder your device from starting the Spotify app smoothly, which means it will keep crashing.
⛔️ Incompatibility with your device system: When your operating system is outdated or up to date, the Spotify app may be incompatible with the system and hence malfunction. You may find it does not work when pressing a button, or your device may be stuck in the middle of the track.
⛔️ Insufficient storage: The Spotify app needs sufficient space to ensure it functions perfectly. When there is not enough local storage space on your device, the operating system may disrupt the Spotify app from running.
⛔️ Network issues: A Poor network connection may interrupt the normal operation of the Spotify app.
Device overheating: If your phone is overheated, it may cause the Spotify app to freeze and crash.
⛔️ Too much background data: When you run too many apps in the background at the same time, the Spotify app on your phone or computer may keep crashing all the time.
