My name is rustovic from indonesia, I have a situation between remake and cover for a song from icona pop "all night" Remakes from idol k-pop IVE, in comments section iam written "the cover song not powerful and too weak" And than I got insulting about my comments saying the remake is cover, It's clear the video mentions a remake,
And i got another mocking moron,stupid,and etc.

but in my opinion it's still cover not remake, even them buy licensed the song for remake for me it's just a cover song.

To make sure I ask chatgpt my comments cover song from idol k-pop "Is it wrong to call a remake song a cover? Gpt said not completely wrong, it's just marketing from company for marketable.

How about you all? Give me your advice about this, btw I am not musician just enjoyed music

Upřímně si myslím, že celá hádka byla mnohem zahřátější, než bylo nutné. Pokud to samotné video nazývá remake, pak je zcela pochopitelné, že jste toto slovo použili ve svém komentáři. Lidé se mohou neshodnout na tom, zda iveova verze zní dostatečně silně, nebo zda osobně dávají přednost originálu, ale není důvod skočit rovnou k tomu, že nad tím někoho označíte za pitomce nebo hloupého. Hudba je subjektivní a jiný názor na obal nebo remake by se opravdu neměl proměnit v osobní útoky.
