They are sort of mainstream now, but no doubt, they were indie in the 80s. Anyway, as with The Smiths and The Pretenders, and honestly speaking, Tom Petty, they were into a jingle-jangly guitar sound.

How can I not know the American rock band from Athens, Georgia, that was formed in 1980 by Bill Berry, Peter Buck, Mike Mills, and Michael Stipe. They were all a drummer, guitarist, bassist and lead vocalist respectively. I loved and enjoyed listening to their songs years ago.

Hi!
REM Music has a unique style that still connects with listeners even today. Their songs have a calm and emotional vibe that works really well during late-night listening sessions or while relaxing after a busy day. I enjoy exploring old music along with movies and entertainment content in my free time. Sometimes I even download playlists or films for offline use, and I check for quick updates on trending movies and entertainment-related content.
