Good Day to you all,
I want to change my studio settings. I use presently a Focusrite Saffire Pro-24 connected in my IMac and I then use Garage Band to record. Instead, I want something that would simplify the recording processes. With this setting, the problems are mostly ergonomic, time consuming and it affect the creative output of the artist . I want to simplify my studio. I want to turn on 1knob and record instead of turning on all instruments, cards, monitors etc. Speaking with friends, one suggested a mixing board ? Could it do the trick?

How many inputs do you need? If you only need 7 or less, then I would recommend a yamaha MG10XU mixer. However, even though it has 10 inputs, 3 of them can only be used as either stereo or a single mono. It’s a quality mixer with effects (however, I would just use plugin effects). Do you have a midi controller connected to GarageBand?
