Lyrics you misinterpreted as a kid?

Looking back, I can’t help but laugh at some songs that I totally got their lyrics wrong when I was young. One of such songs is Dancing Queen. When I discovered that I have been singing what makes no sense at all, I was surprised at what I had been singing.

Are there songs that you misinterpreted their lyrics as a kid?

"Before they use me I will use myself". But what it is supposed to be is "Before they use me I will use my sense. What is funny is that I was not young at all when I used to sing the rubbish.

I misinterpreted all the song's lyrics I listened to as a kid and I sing it with so much pride without minding whether I'm getting it right or wrong. It is now that I am an adult, I usually recall some of those songs that I know I was mixing up the whole lyrics.

Reading this is very funny to me. I can’t imagine how we sing the wrong lyrics even with confidence. Then when we get the right one we get so surprised.
