How Do I Get My Music on Spotify Editorial Playlists?

Hey everyone!

I've been releasing music independently for about a year now and I keep hearing about Spotify playlist placement being a game changer for streams and exposure.

I submitted my last single through Spotify for Artists before the release date, but I never heard anything back and it didn't land on any editorial playlists.

Is the pitching process really that competitive? Are there any tips for writing a strong pitch? Should I also be targeting algorithmic playlists or third party curators instead?

Any advice from artists who have successfully landed placements would be hugely appreciated.

Any advice from artists who have successfully navigated playlist placement would be hugely appreciated. Thanks!
