Does anyone else admire The Beach Boys?

In the wake of Brian Wilson passing on, I was devastated. I got to know his music and became familiar with it right when my school year started, and when it was 2 days away from ending, he died. I found that oddly poetic, and I don't think I'd be the same person I am without The Beach Boys and Brian's music in particular. It really did get me through school, and I would always tell people about the Beach Boys. Usually I'm very shy and don't often get loud or talkative, but their music, particularly The Smile Sessions and the lore surrounding it, opened me up and made me go up to random people and people I didn't speak to before and say, "Hey, do you like music? Do you like the Beach Boys? Listen to this album for me, okay?" I'm so serious too; that's how it would always go. The friends I had would get tired of me always talking about them, and it became a school-wide joke. I'm kind of known as the one who likes that surfing band, but they're so much more than that. First off, I just want to say that, and I know this might be a controversial opinion, but I love the early Beach Boys surf music (not all of it but some of it) just as much as their groundbreaking and life-changing music in the later part of their career. It's just annoying to hear people say the early stuff wasn't great too. I Get Around, In My Room, Surfer Girl, I'm So Young, Little Deuce Coupe, Fun, Fun, Fun, etc. are all incredible pop tunes. It's like when people say the early Beatles was bad. It bothers me; I don't know. Secondly, the Beach Boys did so much for music; they really did. Brian was a genius with his production, not only with harmonies but literally with everything when it came to music, including using the studio and all that. I'm tired of people saying the only good album or trailblazing record they did was Pet Sounds. It's just not true! Smile, Love You, Wild Honey, Smiley Smile, Surf's Up, Today!, Summer Days, Sunflower, and Friends are all incredible works of art. I know I am bouncing all around talking about this band, but I really do love them and their music. It's hard to feel like you don't have literally anyone who respects this art as much as you, so I really have no structure to this statement/question; it's more of just a "do you guys like this band too?!" thing. Sorry if it's convoluted or has errors of any kind; I am pretty tired. If you guys do like The Beach Boys, what are your favorite songs from them? Thank you for reading all this.
