Do You Use Personal Experiences In Your Songwriting And Poetry

We, as writers and artists, are inspired by many things, including our own life experiences. There is a sense of authenticity and relatability for their audience when musicians and poets choose to include their own life stories and emotions in their work.

Do you incorporate your personal experiences when writing poetry or songs, or do you prefer to keep your personal life separate from your creative endeavors?

For now, I haven't written any songs or poem. It's not that I don't want to already but because I haven't been well relaxed to tap into my inner being and write something that's 100% about my life and experiences. It's a kind of poem that's going to evoke a lot of emotions whenever I'm done with it.
