Streaming services such as Spotify, Amazon Music, YouTube Music and many more are popular now among music lovers with that being how people listen to their music and find new music. It has long been debated that streaming services such as Spotify and Amazon Music don't help the music industry but instead hurt it.

Do you feel streaming services help the music industry or does it hurt it?

I don't see the hurt or heard anybody complaining about being hurt from streaming music from Spotify or Amazon music. Streaming services is helping the music industry and not bringing hurt.

I don’t see the claim being a valid one. Spotify pays artists based on the number of streams they have, so I don’t see how it hurts. In fact it encourages artists to make good songs that will appeal to the masses for good earning opportunity.

Streaming services even makes it possible for music artists to earn more money from their songs. It helps the music industry in my opinion because even small artist now have the chance to add their songs and it would be streamed worldwide.
