Can you take care of snakes and pythons?

I watched a video recently where someone who takes care of snakes and python got bitten and almost killed by one of the biggest snakes under his care. If not for his colleague who helped and saved him, he would have been killed by the snake.

Can you take on this kind of job?

I can never have one as a pet not even coming closer to one. I have fears about snakes because they seem dangerous to me. So I am more of careful to avoid being beaten.

Isn't that stupidity? I would have loved it if the python had eaten him alive so that it's going to be a good lesson to other people who want to mess with nature.

I wonder why those people don't see it as stupidity to have a snake as pet. They might be thinking that they have some connection with nature not knowing it's just dangerous to them.

What I'm going to do to snakes and pythons is kill and eat them as meat. I don't have any interest in keeping them or taking care of them as pet.
