Are you still friends with your ex?

Whenever there was a breakup, I was always friends with an ex. Well, actually my relationship with someone not an ex was way worse. I could not be friends with her after moving out of a house with her. It's because she is very controlling and nagging.

    Do you trust people?

Trust is vital to relationships. It's no joke. Anyway, myself, I have difficulty saying what I mean. As I said before, there is situations where people can't take no for an answer and also other things where no victimization is going on.

Who has seen the movie Whiplash?

Yeah, but that guy gave no praise, 0 percent.

    REM

Hootie and the Blowfish claim them as a major inspiration. It's not hard to see why.

    Country Music and Drums

Some country sounds great with beats like the train beat. In any instance, country isn't drum-centric. Drums, aside from some extreme train-beat songs, have the drums way in the background. You're funny. :sneaky:

Do you feel alternative is a term that doesn't mean anything?

That situation would be even more extreme these days with the rise of the internet. In fact, all sorts of tools are available now for production and marketing that didn't exist in the DIY days of the 90s or earlier.

What rock group band was your introduction to Alternative?

My brother was into alternative music. He was an alternative freak. He introduced me to all sorts of weird bands (being sarcastic) that nobody in my high school had heard of.

What do you like about Raggae songs?

I love to play it on drums. It's lots of fun. Anyone play drums on here?

The Tragic Murder of John Lennon: An Enduring Legacy and a Moment of Shock

It's scary to be a celebrity. It's just as bad as being a president. I don't know why these celebrities don't get bodyguards or, at least, try to watch their back more.

    Dolly Parton, anyone?

She was very poor growing up, like Eminem. Her story is certainly rags to riches and she hasn't gotten full of herself.

    Do you trust people?

I trust people fairly easily. It's actually a weakness, though.

What do you love about Puck Rock Music?

I'm not a fan of punk, but I do admire it's anti-record label stance. In fact, music was very pompous in the 70s and punk rebelled against it

What does it mean to be indie?

I see it as a rebellion to having be subject to record labels. In that sense, it's like punk. Well, indie means "independent".

    REM

They are sort of mainstream now, but no doubt, they were indie in the 80s. Anyway, as with The Smiths and The Pretenders, and honestly speaking, Tom Petty, they were into a jingle-jangly guitar sound.

Elon Musk Criticizes "Work from Home"

https://www.msn.com/en-us/money/companies/elon-musk-says-working-from-home-is-morally-wrong/ar-AA1bjA8B He's saying such people unfairly have it easy compared to other workers. Well, there's an element of truth there. Nonetheless, though, not all jobs where you show up are hard. I mean...

Who has seen the movie Whiplash?

I don't really agree with the teacher's philosophy. He's too harsh. I think praise is a good thing, but not too much of it. Well, I mean situations where people are treated like a baby or something.

How do you all like this recently signed band?

The lead/rhythm guitar player was a schoolmate of mine in high school. How do you all feel about the music? Has anyone heard it on the radio?
  18. Jason

    The Smiths

They had a unique sound. in fact, they were one of the most interesting bands of the 80s. Well, they had a sort of jingle jangle guitar thing going, kind of like with REM. Anyway, Morrisey's lyrics are a bit whiny and bratish (not British, lol), but he pulls it off well.

Who is your favorite punk band?

I haven't attempted to listen to much punk aside from Green Day and The Clash's Rock the Casbah. I guess I would have to say Green Day, but only because I have little exposure to other bands. Who else likes Green Day? Anyway, their politics annoys me, but they got some good tunes.

What do you feel is the hardest instrument to play?

It seems like it would be the piano. You have to know the left- and right-hand notes and even if you attempt to study piano by some note-less system, it still seems hard. Well, I have tried to study advanced piano with notes and indeed, it is difficult. I also attempted the violin, but I...
