Does your workplace allow playing of music?

When I was working, we don't play music in our place because it's a distraction to us while serving customers. We can only play music if there's nobody in the office.

That is a good point actually. In fact in most places of work music is not allowed at all, the reason is that it will interfere with productivity.

Those working in the entertainment industry won't mind playing music at the workplace. As far as I am concerned, it is a good way to increase productivity in such a place.

I think it's those places that any slight distraction will interfere with productivity. There are places I've been and music is the reason they work with more often.

I've gone to restaurants where music is being played. It is a working place, if you ask me. So, when you talk about a serious working place, what exactly are you talking about?

And this is understandable because it is distracting. I can imagine the scene, so I get why it is banned. Even the use of EarPods is banned as well.

Yeah, you can't use earbuds because you might get distracted as well. This is the more reason you will understand the nature of your job before you agreed to their terms and conditions.

Even if my workplace allow us to play music, I wouldn't do it because it's going to be a serious distraction for me. I tend to get distracted very easily, it's why I love working alone in my office.
