What software do musicians use to produce music?

I'm currently not into music production but I really enjoy listening to songs all the time. I play music everyday which had me thinking what about trying venturing into music production? I started wondering what kind of softwares they use in music production?

I don't really have a clue on what they used to produce music but from my research, some use Ableton Live, Reaper, Logic Pro, FL Studio for all their music productions.

I’m sure they have different softwares in the studio that they use to produce their songs. Professional producers have sophisticated softwares that they use.

I have entered a studio twice in my lifetime and what I saw in the first studio wasn't the same as in the second studio. The second studio get to have more sophisticated softwares more than the first and it makes their work easier.

They have many softwares for producing music. I know about Reason, Garageband, Massive and Toontrack Superior Drummer and many more that they used for that.
