There are times when I find it have to sleep in the night. I put on soft music which I listen to for a couple of minutes before the sleep comes.
Soft rock usually does this for me.

Does music help you fall asleep?

Yes, music helps to calm down my mind and makes sleeping easy for me. The song must be peaceful and quiet to work its charm on me.

That is what those kinds of music do to you. When you find it hard to sleep they are like sleeping pills. What is one music that puts you to sleep?

A lot of people say that it's very difficult for them to sleep when rap or hip hop songs are playing but that's not like me because I can sleep easily when a rap song is playing. I slept off last night when I was playing this song gen z luv by Central Cee.

Songs that can make me sleep are blues. I prefer the calm and quiet songs that the lyrics are more meaningful when you listen to them and not just for playing sake.

'You are my Sunshine' by Christina Perri can give me that soothing feeling which eventually induces sleep.
This song works when you have a significant other beside you. If you are alone it can end up making you feel lonely and crave for someone. I’ve experienced it before.

You may be correct, but that's if we're taking the lyrics into consideration. Generally, there's a kind of relaxing feeling I get whenever I listen to it, regardless of whether I have a partner or not.

I don't have an specific song to sleep to, but, I do listen to some classic rock, folk, indie and even some metal songs (nothing very heavy or depressive)
But I do have some songs that I'll never quit listening when I'm trying to fall sleep, some of them are, The Chain by Fleetwood Mac, What a Wonderful World by Sam Cooke, Do You Realize?? by The Flaming Lips, Brothers In Arms by Dire Straits and the last one, Nothing Else Matters by Metallica!

That's so true. When I was single, I don't like listening to emotional songs because it will be an avenue for me to cry or wallow in pity why I haven't find a man.

Yeah but lyrics make up a large part of songs. So when you listen and pay attention to the wordings of some songs it can bring up different feelings.
