How do you deal with the criticism of your songs?

Song writers do face a lot of criticisms. There are wings that you are sure is a hit, but many still have a lot of negative things to say about them.
I think the very first thing to to as a songwriter is to develop a thick skin to what people say.

Not everyone will appreciate your songs an and that is fine.

That thick skin is very important. It is not what everyone says that you will allow to get to you. And if everyone likes you, then you are doing it wrong.

That's true. Thick skin is way very much important because when you expect everyone to like you, higher expectations will always kill.

And expecting everyone to like you is where you got it wrong in the first place. No matter the good you do it is just impossible, I wish people can understand that.

Exactly. Not everyone will like your music and that’s okay. what matters is believing in what you create.
