Do you intentionally sing the wrong lyrics because you feel your version is better?

Sometimes I sing and vibe to a song before I even know the actual lyrics. By the time I get to hear the lyrics, it’s hard for to change it, so I just go along and sing the one I have formulated myself.

Example is Waka Waka, the World Cup song.
Does this happen to you too?

It's very embarrassing whenever I do that but I see myself doing it all the time especially when it's a song I love so much. We are all kids down there somewhere in us
