    Digital Synthesis help

    hey everyone, sorry to post another confusing question about synthesis, but I really need help: With Digital synthesis, the parts (rather than the VCO, VCA, etc.) are the NCO, DAC, etc. In the NCO, what is the tuning word, and what do different tuning word values mean, (E.G. 51) Thank you all!

    Why is it hard to recreate an analog sound with digital gear?

    hello everyone, All sound is just made up of frequencies, so why can’t we just use extra parametric EQs and other emulation software to perfectly recreate the sound? Does anybody have answers?
