Do you enjoy sleeping with music playing?
No not really. It doesn't really matter, unless the music is too loud, then maybe I can't sleep, lol. Well, I'm sure there is some science of why music helps some sleep and also the sound of rain or crickets. -

Do you feel alternative is a term that doesn't mean anything?
I kind of see what the OP is saying. It's an overused term. Well, the original meaning is groups that are rebelling against the establishment, kind of like how Punk Rock was or Outlaw Country.- Jerry
