Most favorite songs remind us of a fond memory.

I just have a thought. Any song that I choose as a favorite made me remember a particular memory, pleasant or not.
This is tied to almost all my favorite songs.

This shore that our favorite music is all based on specific moments in our lives, that we will hold dear.

Yes I agree that music often can make people connect and relive those good times and strong vivid memories, sometimes from way back in the past. Maybe i wouldn't remember without that particular excellent song...
But I can also just love the feeling I get from a song. As music can create great new experience in the now and near future too oh yes

Absolutely. Favorite songs often connect us to specific memories or moments, which is part of what makes them so special and meaningful.

I thought as much too. Every song that is a favorite and special to us has a hidden reason for that. I can tell the story of all my favorite songs.
