What do you think are the most iconic or most frequently mentioned songs of the 90s
Which 90s songs would you consider absolute classics that should be on any playlist from that era?

The 90s is the best era of the best songs ever. Songs, which always takes me back to the days when I was a kid :
1. Haddawy - what is love
2. Ace of base - All that she wants
3. DJ Bobo - Everybody
4. Loona- Bailando
.. and more.

You really asked three questions there: best songs, most iconic songs and most frequently mentioned songs, which are all different things. So, my list consists of the twenty best songs that all deserve a spot on any '90s playlist (in my humble opinion). I limited myself to one song per artist so that it wouldn't be a list of five to seven artists repeated over and over. And while there was a ton of great pop and hip-hop released in the 90s, my absolute favorites lean more grunge and alternative, so that's mostly what's on the list.
