How did you choose your instruments?

How did you choose the instruments you know how to play best? What are the things you kept in mind?
If I am to choose now I will go with the guitar. I love the sound and the fact that I can carry it around more easily, compared to drums and pianos.

I love the sounds from piano. It's the musical instrument that I will always pick all the time. If you hear an expert play the piano, you will only but fall in love with it.

This is actually underated. I love the violin too and I am always enthralled when I see someone play it. This is among the top reasons to like any instrument.

There are some people who choose the musical instruments they want to learn simply because of how difficult it is to master playing such instruments. Piano and guitar is my favorite. I love them so much because of the melody they usually produce whenever you're playing them.

Violin is nice too. I always love it when ladies especially or little children plays it so well, it makes me to be excited. I will love to play it if I get the opportunity to learn from an expert.

I had my sight set on trumpet as a kid. I watched how it was played in cartoons as a kid, I fell in love with it. So, I had to choose it as my first musical instrument to learn.

I've been playing trumpet for more than 15 years now. Since I started playing as a kid, it wasn't very long for me to master how to play any kind of trumpet.

That's very nice. You are doing well because not everybody can master every kind of trumpet. It's a long way and you are already professional. Hope you are teaching students to learn from you?

I haven't played any musical instruments since my 3rd grade. I don't have any kind of interest in playing musical instruments, they are just not my thing.

my grandpa used to play drums in a rock band in the 70s, my uncle is a good at playing metal, i think hearing my uncle play drums when i was little boosted my decision, farthened by when i started listening to dream theater, the creativity you can achieve by essentially hitting plastic film and metal plates is so lively and lovely

Someone taught me, I was never born with the knowledge or skill. Why do I need to hoard the knowledge to myself? I will never be that kind of person.

yeah, even tho i am far from a master at drums, being able to play rock and thats about it. if i can make someone else improve i will do my best
